Tackling Digital Poverty
The Rock Trust is an organisation which supports young people who are, or have been, facing homelessness. The social mobility of these young people is severely hampered by their inability to access the technology which we rely on to conduct our studying, business, social interactions, and many other facets of our lives.
Icelantic is proud to work with The Edinburgh Remakery to have donated devices to The Rock Trust. These devices will be used for the young people to be able to attend college and do their course work. Furthermore, our own Bailey Leitch has been hard at work volunteering at the Remakery, helping them refurbish devices to access even more people living in digital poverty. Well done, Bailey!
